Ark Prep 101 - Thinking Outside of the Box!

Food Storage is all fine and dandy
to have in your basement,
but what if you actually have to use
the stuff you have stored?
Have you ever used . . .
Powdered Eggs
Powdered Milk
Canned Meats
or
Dehydrated Fruits or Vegetables?
These items are some of the easiest food storage items
to start using in your everyday meals.
I will be including these items in the Bag Meals,
so I thought I'd give you a heads up.
Don't Worry . . .
They are easy to use and you won't notice a difference in the
taste at all . . . in fact I have a feeling you'll be hooked.
This Friday I will show you how to can ground beef and sausage.
The this week's Bag Meal Dessert Recipe will include
dehydrated apples as well as oats.
I will also be using powdered milk and eggs in this
week's Breakfast Bag Meal.
The Dinner Bag Meal will include some canned ground beef.
So are you ready?
Do you have all of the ingredients you need?
I'm excited for your to see how much easier and cheaper
making meals for your family can be.
You have your list . . . Time to go shopping!
I will be posting a Breakfast Bag Meal later today.
I just realized that I didn't post the
Bag Meal Dessert for last week
or the Preserve It . . . Canning Corner Recipe.
I'll try to do that today as well.
I was in survival-mode with sick kids last week, but
they are all feeling better now so things
should be getting back to normal.
It should be a fun day!

  4. Whew . . . I was a little scared for a minute there! (I have to say I'm not completely convinced about your bravery . . . I think I might still have to whip up a batch of something made with powdered eggs and powdered milk and drop it by your house so your family can give it a try!)
You just say the word and I'm on it!!!

  6. You can buy powdered eggs at Walmart, Macey's, or Emergency Essentials. They sell them online as well.
