PLUCK THE TURKEY!
This is a Thanksgiving Hangman
and a great way to get pre-teens and teens
involved in the day's activities.
You have to use words that have to do with this
specific holiday.
(OK...you don't have to, but it's definitely more fun!)
Instead of slowly hanging a stick figure,
you will be plucking the turkey.
If you guess the word before all your feathers are gone...
YOU WIN!
If NOT...You're the Thanksgiving Dinner!
Above is a picture of the word card.
This page is laminated so that dry erase markers can be used.
Here's the Plucked Turkey:
Here are His Feathers:
The Game Also Comes With An Instruction Card:
The PDF prints out to be an 11"x17"
so it can be used in larger groups.
I also did a smaller version so that you can
print it from home.

Good Luck!
Hi Tricia,
ReplyDeleteI love all your holiday ideas. I have been looking for the Gobble PDFs and they don't seem to be up. Can you help?
Also, looking forward to the Bag Meals Recipe Book and the cover for the journal pages.
You are awesome!!!
I've had a hard time loading some of the PDF files, but they should all be up and going by tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being so patient!
Trish
I aBsoLuTeLy ♥ Luv your bLoG!!!! I found a new way to have fun with our long distance family although they are across the ocean! We webcam alot and this will be a way to stay connected and on subject with the yung'uns... I plan on sending parts of this to our soldier in Iraq to have a bit of fun in a stressful situation. Blessings to you and your family... You are an AnGeL!!! ~ Hugs
ReplyDeleteSuzanne,
ReplyDeleteThank You so much for your sweet comment! As I read it, tears filled my eyes. I'm so glad to hear you will be sending this to the soldiers. YOU are the ANGEL!
You made my day!
Trish
Tricia! I love your site! You are amazing! And thank you for making so many wonderful games and ideas available for FREE! I've been searching your whole blog and wanted to do some of the things from last Nov but the files don't seem to be coming up. It just redirects me to a Prepared not scared yahoo group. I joined the group but still can't find the files. Any ideas? Thanks again for all your hard work. I'm excited to start my new journal with your pages. A monthly journal seems much less overwhelming :) Emily
ReplyDeleteThanks Emily!
ReplyDeleteGoogle group no longer stores the pdf files but you can still access ALL of them! Go to the 2010 Folders on the top right hand side of the blog. You can do a search in each of the folders to find what you're looking for. Folders 1-3 are for the first to middle part of the year and folders 3-5 are for the middle to last part of the year.
Hope that helps!
Let me know if you have any problems from there...I'm happy to help in any way I can!
Trish
