He's Going To . . .

The Tampa, Florida Mission!
This was truly inspired!!!
Chris' really good friend . . . practically a brother,
is serving in the exact same mission and
Chris' Mission President is from Farmington!
NO WAY!!!
I was expecting him to read the entire letter but he
just blurted out, "Tampa, Florida!"
I thought he was kidding and so did his friends mom
who just happened to be recording the whole event
to send to her son. (The almost like-a-brother serving in Tampa.)
We both looked at each other in total disbelief.
I kept asking if he was teasing,
but it was the real deal!
He leaves for the MTC April 20th,
with another friend that lives just down the
street . . . on the same day!
The spirit was so strong in our home and we
knew he was going where the Lord wanted him
to serve.
It was truly an AMAZING night!
And, now for the moment
YOU'VE all been waiting for . . .
Time to announce the Winner!
Kimber my friend
you totally guessed it!
Way to go!!!
Tina and Sawyer 13
YOU WERE SOOO CLOSE!

Can I just say...
I am soooo
IMPRESSED and PROUD
of ALL of YOU!
YOU WERE ALL EXPERTS!
The water answers varied a little, but that's because
I didn't specify an amount of time.
I wish I could give all of you a prize!
BUT
I only have two prizes to give!
...Drum Roll Please...
The Contest Winners Are . . .
Stephanie and Alisa

So are you wondering what you won?!?
It's the . . .

All made up and ready to go.
Sorry it went longer than 3:00 pm.
My house is still in plastic, but it's should be done
by FRIDAY!
Oh, Happy Day!

Holy Cow!

I think during pregnancy
I must have given each of my children some
very important parts of my brain
BECAUSE
It's gone I tell you  . . . GONE!
You're probably wondering, "What in the Good Night is up!"
Well . . . (brief uncomfortable pause . . .)
I have been driving around with the PRIZES for the last
contest in my car, for . . . FOREVER!
My Emergency Car Kit fell over and was
laying over the top of them.
I didn't even remember that I hadn't sent them
until I got an email from a very sweet person,
a WINNER for that matter,
wondering where her prize was.
(Thank YOU by the way!)
How EMBARRASING!
So First off, I ask for your forgiveness,
Second, I'm adding a little "SOM SOM" extra to your prize,
and Third, I just need one more thing from YOU,
and I'll send them for real this time.
I need YOUR ADDRESSES!
I must have thrown the paper with the addresses away.
I can't find it anywhere.
GONE I TELL YOU . . . GONE!!!
Thank YOU for being soooo patient.
You're all ROCK STARS in my book!

10 Steps to Organized WINNERS!

CONGRATULATIONS
TO THE WINNERS OF THE
10 STEPS TO ORGANIZED BOOK . . .
Sheri
Susan
Ann Gardner
Anne
Dan, Lisa, Zeak, Jake, and Kaci!
The correct answers were . . .
BUFFALO CHIPS OR COW PIES
I believe this BIG FELLA needs a little more time in the sun!
If you were the LUCKY WINNERS,
Please email your address to me at:
smithest1989@hotmail.com
Congratulations Everyone!
Just a few facts about Buffalo or Cow Chips:
(Just in case you didn't get your fill from the photo!)
They burn very hot!
They have to be dry . . . thank heavens for that!
They are also known as "Meadow Muffins" or
"Nik Nik" by the indians.
I'm not even going to mention what the
English name for this wonderful topic is!
Cow dung is also used to line the floor and walls of buildings
owing to its insect repellent properties for some types of insects
(not flies or dung beetles).
 In central Africa, Maasai
villages have burned cow dung inside to repel mosquitos.
In cold places,
cow dung is used to line the walls of rustic houses
as a cheap thermal insulator.
Buffalo and Cow Chips were also used for throwing contests.
Who would have thought?!?
They used them the same way we use charcoal now,
and they were easy to find!
This whole subject is just busting me up . . .
I had no idea I could be so easily entertained!
Hopefully this is a great incentive for YOU
to store a few extra bags of charcoal!
By the way . . .
Is the Buffalo Chip holder in the picture,
called a "Wheel Barrel" or a "Wheel Barrow?"
Just wondering.  I spelled it both ways and was ok with either one!
Thanks for ALL of your comments!
My phone line hasn't been fixed yet, but they are supposed to be doing that
TODAY!
I will be posting the PDF files for yesterday as well as a
Lunch Bag Meal.
Thanks for being so patient!
I've always been BLESSED,
but never very LUCKY!
